Pickypics.com offers image editing, manipulation and correction services to photographers, studios and public customers. In addition to the services offered by Pickypics, we also encourage professional and armature image editors and photographers to submit material to us for academic purposes in order to share ideas and showcase individuals' talents. This site is not just a commercial endeavour, it aims to explore the possibilities offered by digital image manipulation applications such as photoshop, painter, paintshop pro and others. Anybody can contribute material to this site whilst retaining full copyright to their submitted images and text. We accept news, reviews, links, articles, tutorials, and manipulated or edited images (with or without commentary).To submit material go to our

Service Information Summary:
Restoration Service:
Photographs can be restored from the original print, negative, transparency or other non-standard material such as glass plate or metal/ceramic objects. You can send this original medium to us via the post or you can scan the material yourself and send it to us via the
Restoration Service Page. Scanning the image yourself will save you the cost of postage and will also allow us to begin work on your photo-restoration immediately. The procedure for postal restorations also be found on the Restoration Service Page.
Colourisation:
Black & white, sepia or faded colour photographs will be coloured or re-coloured in a manner best fitting the era in which the photo was taken. Studies of the fashions and tastes prevalent in the days of early photography allow our colour artists to recreate an accurate representation of the subjects and settings depicted within the photograph. Corrections:
Miscellaneous image corrections can be sent to us via the
Upload Page. A brief description of your requirements is all we need in order to provide you with a quotation for the work.
Bulk Order Corrections:
Special arrangements can be made for frequent customers and bulk orders whereby images can be sent directly to a specially created folder on one of our servers that can be accessed only by you and ourselves. Such an arrangement allows you to send us an unlimited number of images along with any other relevant material. This service is ideally suited to photographers who wish to have their entire day's material corrected and ready for printing/publishing. Specially reduced prices for these bulk orders are determined by the number of images and their condition. Sending the images to us is free and the evaluation and quotation for correcting the photographs is also free. Photo Manipulations:
Images can be manipulated in every way imaginable consequently it is impossible to create a category for each and every type. If you have an image that needs to be manipulated in a way that is not represented in our service guide then send it to us via the
Upload Page along with a brief description of the alterations or effects that you require. We will provide you with a quotation for the work.
